On the occasion of the European Heritage Days and as part of la Biennale d’Aix, the Bastide du Jas de Bouffan partners with centre d’arts contemporains 3 bis f to bring you an outdoor performance in the heart of the gardens.
Both patient artisans, choreographer-dancer Christian Ubl and gardener-writer Gilles Clément share a love for exploring their respective fields: the stage for one, the garden for the other. In Vagabondages & Conversations, they bring humor and tenderness to exploring what it means to be "alive" through a danced dialogue. Delicately, they touch upon transformation, adaptation, and migration through the lens of "planetary mixing" (brassage planétaire), a core concept of Gilles Clément.
